I began my professional life as a chemistry teacher before making the transition to full-time golf coaching. Golf has been a part of my life since the age of four, when I first played a pitch-and-putt course with my dad using a set of Seve Colt blades that my parents had given me for Christmas. Seve Ballesteros was one of my earliest golfing heroes, and that first set of clubs remains a special memory from the beginning of my journey in the game.

I had the honour of representing the Cambridgeshire Men’s County Team for five seasons, an experience that gave me first-hand insight into the demands of preparation, competition, and performing within a team environment. I also represented the University of St Andrews, an environment deeply rooted in the history and culture of golf.

As a coach, an important part of my development has been working alongside Patrice Amadieu, Head Coach of the Académie FFGolf. His continuing mentorship has helped me develop a stronger understanding of how to identify the key factors that limit a player’s performance, how to diagnose ball-flight and strike issues, and how to communicate information in a clear and simple way.

This experience has also reinforced the importance of personalised feels and drills, helping players not only understand what needs to change, but also learn how to create that change through practice.

My objective is to combine clear communication, accurate diagnosis, and practical coaching solutions so that players can improve with confidence and transfer those improvements to the golf course.
